I love making plans. Dinner plans, lunch plans,  weekend plans, family plans, party plans, ALL kinds of plans...plans are great!

You are all making plans right NOW. You are making plans for your future, you are laying down plans so that you may have a healthy, happy successful life and career.  You are making the most important plans of all... LIFE PLANS.

I made life plans too and being a typical Virgo I like my plans to stay neat, orderly and timely... I stuck to my plan. The only problem was  that my plan did not stick to me.  There are no straight lines in life and that's what makes it so interesting. So, tell me... What's YOUR plan?

Having won many titles such as Miss Teen Vancouver, Miss World Canada Runner Up, being a Professional Cheerleader for the CFL and working in the modeling, dance, acting industry from a very young age, I know a lot about what it takes to be "pretty". I also know the toll that trying to be perfectly pretty takes on your soul. I'm here to share my story and how I learned that being pretty is definitely an asset but not the most important part of YOU.  Pretty may get you in the door but it's your substance that will keep you there. Women are natural born leaders, we are multi-taskers and the pillar of society. Our strength comes in numbers but begins from deep within. I'd like to share some stories about being a woman in a modern world and how characteristics such as self confidence, self worth, integrity, discipline and drive will provide the foundation for being ultra successful and... MORE THAN PRETTY.

Be THAT Teacher They Will Remember For All the Right Reasons

I have been a student, I have children who are students and I have worked
with students of all ages. The most important quality a teacher can have
next to excellent credentials and schooling is passion for their students,
sharing the joy they have in teaching whatever that subject that may be,
having RESPECT for each and every student and showing compassion,
kindness and understanding for every student... not just the "easy" ones.

As you know, children and teens are very clever. They can feel who is or is
not genuine and this makes a big difference in their actions/reactions.
Our mindset, the words we use and our body language makes all the difference
in how people interact. Leadership begins with a POSITIVE POV, INSPIRATION,

COMPASSSION AND LOVE... and with these action words in place, students will

naturally WANT to follow.

The teachers that made an impact in my life went about and beyond and I am
forever appreciative for the lessons, examples and joy they shared with me.
